The pixels on the dinosaur textures are almost impossible to notice, unless you go into capture mode and zoom in ridiculously closely.
The particular differences are draw and render distance, level of detail/polygon count in the foliage, and the textures on the dinosaurs. Might even be 1080, but 900 is more likely. Docked mode is 900p I think, because it definitely looks sharper than 720p to me. Handheld mode is noticeably blurry, and seems to be 540p.
I've taken screenshots in docked mode and some friends of mine actually thought it was the PS4 version. In docked mode, the picture quality is way better. Note that many of the comments here admit that they're judging it in handheld mode.
